The jacquard weave has a nice weight to it, so it doesn't cling or ride up when I walk. The contrast ruffle trim at the hem gives it a playful swing that makes it feel dressier than your average black skirt, and the snowflake detail is subtle up close.
I was nervous the snowflake pattern might look costume-y, but it’s subtle and really pretty up close. The pleated ruffle hem gives it a nice swing when I walk, and it’s held up through a full day of wear without bunching.
The contrast pleated ruffle trim is what sold me, and it moves beautifully when I walk—definitely adds a playful swing. The jacquard fabric feels sturdy enough for everyday wear without being stiff. I've already gotten compliments on the snowflake detail showing through the pattern.
