I wore these to the office on a 70-degree day and didn't overheat once, which says a lot since suiting usually runs hot. The knife pleats hold their crease nicely and make the leg look longer, and the purple is deeper in person than on screen.

The lightweight suiting fabric makes these wearable even on warmer fall days, which I wasn't expecting from tailored pants. The purple is deep and rich in person, not that washed-out lavender I was worried about. Wore them to the office and straight to dinner without feeling overdressed either place

The pleats give these a really polished look and the fabric is light enough for early fall without feeling flimsy. I did have to size up because the waist runs a bit snug.
