Crafted in crisp cotton poplin, the Bethany black midi dress is the perfect transitional piece for fall. Featuring a fully smocked bodice with a ruffled neckline and contrast eyelet trim, this black dress has a gathered skirt that cuts an ultra-flattering, contoured silhouette.
The eyelet trim on the neckline is such a sweet detail in person, way prettier than the photos let on. Cotton poplin has a nice crisp feel but doesn't wrinkle as badly as I feared after a full day of wear. Wore it to a fall baby shower and got asked where it was from twice.
The smocked bodice hugs without squeezing, which is rare for me since I'm between sizes. Wore it to a fall wedding with boots and got three compliments before the ceremony even started. The eyelet trim on the neckline is such a nice detail in person.
