The ankle ties are the detail I didn't know I needed — cinching them makes the sculptural leg look intentional instead of sloppy. Wore them to dinner with a tucked tee and got stopped twice asking where they're from. The tan color is a perfect warm neutral too.
I was nervous about the barrel leg being too wide, but the side gussets give it this sculptural shape that actually drapes nicely instead of looking boxy. The tan goes with way more in my closet than I expected, and the five-pocket styling means I can still carry my phone and keys.
The ankle ties are what sold me — I cinch them snug with boots and the barrel shape still holds. Wore them to a dinner and got asked where they were from twice.
