This brown polka dot maxi dress is a flirty-yet-refined occasion dress designed with a draped boat neckline, flutter sleeves, and an asymmetrical skirt that falls beautifully around the body.
Wore this to a fall wedding and the asymmetrical skirt kept catching the light every time I moved. The boat neckline sits really flattering without needing constant adjusting, which never happens for me. Brown polka dot was a gamble but it looks way more expensive than it was.
The asymmetrical skirt hangs so nicely without clinging, and the flutter sleeves keep it from feeling too formal. I wore it to a garden wedding and got compliments all night.
The flutter sleeves are my favorite part, they're flowy without being fussy, and the boat neckline sits well on my shoulders. I did have to steam it out of the package since the fabric held some creases, but it hung fine after that.
